If you've never traveled the US in a Campervan, you have no idea what you're missing
The United States is as incredibly vast as it is beautiful - the world's third largest nation by landmass. In addition to possessing some of the world's greatest coastal cities, the US contains some of the most fantastically varied and unique landscapes to exist anywhere on Earth. LA has Hollywood, Chicago the waterfront, San Francisco the Golden Gate Bridge. Miami has the parties, Salt Lake City has the mountains, New York has everything.

But what about the rest of this great nation? Life doesn't solely exist within 30 minutes of an international airport. If you're skipping over the other 97% of the country, you're missing out on a whole lot.

Did you know that there's a secret town (no, we're not telling) 2 hours north of San Francisco that is so beautiful and so damn cute that the locals remove any road signs acknowledging its existence to prevent it being overrun by tourists? And that in this town you can sit on the beach watching the sun set over the Pacific eating fresh oysters and drinking local wine before spending the night camped underneath a massive Redwood tree? Did you know that the striking scenery driving across Southern Utah makes it one of the most breathtaking adventures you can take? Wouldn't you like to know how it feels to wake up in a pine forest in coastal Oregon overlooking the ocean? Watching the sun come up over the rim of the Grand Canyon? To meet fellow travelers, make friends, and hear the stories of what brought them to this moment in their lives? Or perhaps to discover what it's like to spend an entire day in a place so tranquil and remote that you don't encounter another human being? Imagine having every possibility at your fingertips, with the ability to spend a few days living any way you want. Being completely free.

So how do you make all of this happen? A Campervan.

A Campervan enables you to go wherever you want, for as long as you want, stopping wherever you want, and staying as long as you want.

If you can dream it, you can live it. All you have to do is point the steering wheel, place your foot on the pedal, and go.

Who is Campervan travel for?

Go ahead and search the term "#vanlife", see what you find, People from all backgrounds choose to travel in Campervans. Young people, old people, rich people, poor people, girls, boys, single, married, divorced, entire families.

For some people it's an occasional weekend, for others a monthly ritual, and for a growing number of adventurous souls it becomes a full-time lifestyle.

If you are curious about the world, if you like to explore, if you take joy in discovering, if you treasure experience, if you collect memories, if you find beauty in your surroundings, if you have an imagination, if you take pleasure in simple things, if you would rather be a traveler than a tourist, a Campervan is for you.

But why a Campervan?

We're all about travel. We encourage you to travel as often as you can by any means available to you. That said, a Campervan offers advantages over virtually any other way of traveling:

  • Tent Camping - nothing beats the great outdoors! Unless it's cold, hot, buggy, raining, snowing, windy...
  • Car Camping - great option for a night or two, but far from comfortable.
  • RVs - very comfortable but difficult to drive, gas guzzlers, and prohibited from going certain places by law.
  • Hotel - need reservations, pricey, and generally boring.

A Campervan offers an unmatched mix of capability, comfort, and flexibility.

The Journey

If you look right down at the bottom of this page, you'll notice an oft-used quote from the great Transcendentalist thinker and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson.
"Life is a journey, not a destination."
It's wonderful to have a destination in mind, but it is the journey that makes it worthwhile. This applies doubly to Campervans - where you set out to get to often becomes less important than the memories you make getting there.

Without getting too deep into philosophical thought, you can easily apply this logic to your own existence. Your life is very much a journey between two specific and certain endpoints: you were born, and you will die.

All that amazing stuff in between that makes it worthwhile? That's the journey.
